Avoid using simple passwords such as your company name, phone number, domain name, or common words.
7. Set the Email Storage Limit

Choose an appropriate limit based on your available hosting resources.
Remember that email messages and attachments may use storage space from your hosting account.
8. Create the Email Account
Review the information and click Create Account.
After the account is created successfully, your new email address should appear in the email account list.
You can then begin using the mailbox.
9. Access Your Email
Depending on the available configuration, you may be able to access your mailbox through webmail.
Open the available Webmail option from DirectAdmin and log in using your full email address and email password.
For example:
Email: [email protected]
Password: Your email account password

You may also configure the email account in compatible email applications using the mail server settings provided for your hosting account.
Typical email applications may include:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Mozilla Thunderbird
- Apple Mail
- Mobile email applications
Use the exact IMAP, POP3, SMTP, port, and security settings provided by your hosting server.

Depending on the server configuration, relevant records may include:
- MX records
- SPF
- DKIM

Avoid changing these records unless you understand their purpose or have received instructions from ApnCloud Support.
